Let's be honest – shopping for clothes in Australia can be a bit of a nightmare if you're not a "standard" size (whatever that means!). We've all had those changing room moments that leave us feeling like there's something wrong with our bodies.

When I started By Samantha Melbourne, I was fed up with clothes that looked amazing on the hanger but terrible on actual human bodies. I wanted to create pieces that:
- Look fantastic on EVERYONE
- Feel comfortable all day
- Last longer than a single season
- Work for women of all ages
Is that really too much to ask? I didn't think so!
Size 6 to 22 (and even 24 for our Palazzos!)
We're proud to cater to Aussie women from size 6 all the way to 22, with our popular palazzo pants going up to size 24. And we're not talking about completely different styles for different sizes – the same gorgeous designs work across our entire range.
Our secret? We actually TEST our clothes on real women with different body shapes.

Last month, we packed up our classic collection and headed to the stunning sunny Queensland with our amazing model. There's something pretty special about watching our wrap dresses catch the breeze on a curvy body!
The photos? Completely unedited. Because real women have curves and unique features – and that's what makes fashion come alive.

Our customers range from 18-year-old uni students buying their first "grown-up" dress to fabulous 65-year-olds who know exactly what works for them. Style doesn't have an expiry date!
One of my favourite moments was receiving photos from two generations of women, all wearing our classic wrap dress in different prints. That's when I knew we were onto something special.

What makes me happiest isn't selling dresses (though that's nice too!) – it's seeing women of all shapes, sizes and ages feeling fantastic in our clothes.
